Many parents come to us seeking assistance with transitioning their children from elementary to middle school, or middle school to high school, and they share a lot of information with us about the experiences their children have had at their elementary schools. We have personally visited over 50 area independent, parochial, Christian, international and Montessori elementary schools in the Boston area.

We have a unique perspective on the academics, sports, culture and philosophy of many area K-6, K-8 and K-12 schools. We see how well prepared their students are when it comes to ISEE prep for competitive middle school admissions, and SSAT prep for competitive high school admissions. Parents share with us their experience with the teachers, the curriculum, and the community, and students tell us what they love (and what they wish they could change) about their schools.

This knowledge helps us to educate parents about which schools would be a good fit for their child, and their family. Many parents of older students tell us they wish they had a resource like this available to them when they were looking for an elementary school for their child, because they may have made a different choice, if they had better information with which to make this important decision.

We offer a flat rate package for Kindergarten consulting which includes:

1. Questionnaire and discussions with the parent(s) about what they would like to see in an educational environment for their child, and the personality of their child. This helps us get a better sense of which schools would be a good fit for the family.

2. List of recommended schools, and insight into the school culture, philosophy, and curriculum.

3. Assistance with school research and open house preparation – what to look for, and how to evaluate schools, both on-line and in-person.

4. Mock interview preparation for parents.

5. Discussion of student “play interviews”, and student recommendations.

6. Assistance with parent applications and interview questions.

7. Phone, Zoom and e-mail communication with parents throughout the process as needed.
